A bird eye view of Yizhou, Guangxi, China’s longevity village

Yizhou, formerly Yishan County, is a district under the administration of Hechi City, southern China’s Guangxi Province. Yizhou was awarded the title of “China’s longevity village” by the Gerontological Society of China (GSC) in 2015.

Yishui Bay is a blend of mountains and rivers and has a tortuous shape. Therefore it is also called S Bay.

Yizhou is a multi-ethnic city dominated by Zhuang people, an ethnic group who mostly live in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in southern China. The ancient city has a history of 2100 years.
